Audi Workshop Controller

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Audi Workshop Controller to join our team at Riverside Consultancy. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Audi service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the flow of work through the workshop to ensure quality and compliance of all works carried out.
- Maximise utilisation and ensure technicians are working efficiently, safely, and to all company guidelines.
- Guide the workshop team to deliver exceptional customer service, while ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and develop the workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance and quality for all jobs.
- Monitor workshop loading and ensure continuity.
- Measure technician activity and performance to deliver a quality and compliant first-time fix.
- Arrange for customers to be informed that their vehicle has been completed.
- Ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Handle customer complaints quickly and effectively or escalate as per company procedures.
- Responsible for the supervision of junior staff, ensuring their designated duties are performed correctly and highlighting any problems or quality issues.
- Manage and oversee workshop apprentices from a training and wellbeing perspective.
- Ensure all company and trade association policies, procedures, and minimum standards are met, and all statutory requirements are adhered to.
- Industry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering.
- Strong passenger car knowledge and experience.
- Process-driven and able to work under pressure.
