Nuclear Safety Case Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Case Developer to join our Site Safety Case team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing authoritative guidance on the development of safety cases, ensuring compliance with UK nuclear legislation and industry guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective safety cases through the application of analytical methods and documentation structure
- Provide authoritative advice, guidance, and mentoring to safety case specialists to develop and maintain an effective safety case capability
- Act as a senior SME for safety case development, ensuring consistency with Company Policy, Business Processes, and Quality Assurance programme
- Represent the company at internal and external meetings associated with safety and regulation of nuclear sites
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree in a STEM subject (or equivalent experience)
- Extensive knowledge of safety case development techniques and methodology
- UK nuclear legislation, nuclear industry, site licensing, authorisation, and environmental permitting, and associated industry guidance
