Compensation Specialist - VP, Financial Services/Asset Management

Join a market-leading financial services company as a Compensation Specialist, supporting the C-Suite on executive compensation and working closely with heads of functions across various geographies.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to partner with an international remit, advising on all levels of compensation, including executive compensation, bonuses, and LTIPs. As a true comp specialist, you will be heavily internal-facing, supporting and consulting within BAU and comp rounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the C-Suite on executive compensation, working closely with heads of functions across various geographies.
  • Partner with the wider people team on compensation, advising on internal and external structures, including competitive salaries and comparator firms.
  • Develop and implement compensation strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on compensation-related matters, including regulatory regimes and MRTs/Code staff regimes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of compensation plans.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial services, with exposure to executive compensation processes.
  • Advanced HR Systems knowledge, including Workday, MarketPay, and Payfactors.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a background of hands-on C-Suite guidance and advice.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to back up data with storytelling and consultancy advice.
  • Experience working at a senior compensation level, ideally at VP/Director level.
  • Knowledge of regulatory regimes, including IFPR and UCITS/AIFMD.
