Role Overview

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee contract timescales and administer CEMAR. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of NEC Contract Management and CEMAR systems.

About the Role

  • Ensure all contract timescales are being met by the project team, managing CEMAR effectively.
  • Administer the contract in accordance with the scope and terms/conditions.
  • Lead the review of compensation events and assess applications for payment.
  • Forecast completion and administer CEMAR at weekly Early Warning meetings.
  • Liaise with the Client CEMAR Superuser for access, delegation, and user queries.
  • Prepare Defined Cost audit queries for the Auditor.
  • Provide pre-contract support to the project team as required.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of Contract Management, particularly NEC.
  • Familiarisation with CEMAR systems.
  • Experience supporting Early Warnings and compensation events.
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
  • Security Cleared (or ability to gain SC Clearance).
