As a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and promote student engagement.
  • Deliver effective lessons in Food Technology, using a range of teaching strategies to promote student understanding and motivation.
  • Evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and assessing student attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas.
  • Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and academic achievement within the school community.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: QTS or equivalent, with experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
  • Curriculum knowledge: Strong understanding of the Food Technology curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Organisational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, share resources, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Salary:
A competitive salary range of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
