Are you a passionate educator seeking a challenging role in Food Technology?

We are looking for an exceptional Food Technology Teacher to join our team at a Stroud based Secondary School on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire students and help them develop both practical and theoretical skills in food technology.

The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, preparation, and marking. This position requires a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who can develop engaging and effective lessons in Food Technology, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive lessons in Food Technology.
  • Develop lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are used appropriately.
  • Organise and participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to food technology.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods for Food Technology.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
