We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food Technology Teacher to join our team at a Stroud based Secondary School. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in Food Technology, developing students' practical and theoretical skills, and contributing to the school's vibrant educational community.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Food Technology education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. You will be committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Deliver effective lessons in Food Technology, utilising a range of teaching strategies to promote student understanding and engagement.
  • Evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and assessing student attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas.
  • Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and academic achievement within the school community.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: QTS or equivalent, with experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
  • Curriculum knowledge: Strong understanding of the Food Technology curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Organisational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, share resources, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Benefits:
A competitive salary range of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our organisation.
