Job Title: Business Services Assistant Manager

Pro-Finance is seeking an experienced Business Services Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare unaudited financial statements based on clients' Management Information.
  • Advise clients on best practices within their accounting systems.
  • Supervise the work of junior staff, preparing it for client presentation.
  • Support specialist financial reporting tasks as required.
  • Demonstrate a solid technical understanding of compiling financial statements under UK GAAP.
  • Prepare basic corporation tax computations for further review by the tax department.
  • Possess working knowledge of VAT and payroll tax issues, with the ability to identify improvements and solutions in clients' records.
  • Establish strong working relationships with clients and colleagues through technical competence, clear communication, and an approachable manner.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior staff members.
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or international equivalent.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements.
  • Ideally you will have supervised juniors in a previous role.
  • Ability to work from home as well as the office.
  • Experience of working on a broad client portfolio.
