Financial Conduct Authority Risk Manager Job Summary

As a Financial Conduct Authority Risk Manager, you will play a key role in leading the FCA's incident response efforts, developing strategic partnerships, and driving regulatory policy initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the FCA's response to operational incidents through ARF, collaborating with PRA, BoE, HMT, and other UK authorities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international partners to advance operational and cyber resilience objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new FCA approaches and policy initiatives to enhance firm reporting and incident management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the department, staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience working in financial services or critical national infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management, preferably in a regulator or similarly complex environment.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience managing high-performing teams or mentoring staff.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including private healthcare, a non-contributory pension, and life assurance.
