Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Protection Specialist to join our Steriliser Business Team at our Plymouth site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team with regulatory requirements, licensing, and permits associated with the operation of our Cobalt 60 steriliser.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with regulatory requirements, licensing, and permits associated with the operation of the Cobalt 60 steriliser.
  • Liaise with the Radiation Protection Adviser to ensure radiological safety.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for radiation-related queries and issues.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-educated and qualified Engineer with experience in radiation protection and sterilisation operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
