As part of the Carwow Group team, you'll be championing drivers and the automotive industry, acting as a disruptor, and embracing innovation. Our team of 500 employees across the UK, Germany, Spain, and Portugal are transforming the car-buying landscape, and we're expanding our mission across every brand and country we operate in.
Job Overview
We're seeking an accomplished Head of Media Sales to lead and grow our media sales team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a media sales strategy that drives revenue growth through our core native digital offering, sponsored and creative content, and other media solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media sales, a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, and preferably experience within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media sales strategy aligned with our growth goals and market positioning.
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of media sales professionals, empowering their future development and growth.
- Cultivate new business opportunities within the automotive sector, expanding the client base and increasing market share.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in media sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- A proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- A strong understanding of digital advertising, media solutions, and preferably the automotive market.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
