We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinician to join our team in Emergency Medicine at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to support the delivery of the junior staff induction program, departmental, regional and medical school teaching, as well as continued personal training development in areas identified in the appraisal process and supported in core objective setting in job planning.

This is a full-time post with an estimated salary of £**90,000 - £120,000** per annum, depending on experience. Participation in audit/appraisal and CME is mandatory under clinical governance/GMC guidance.

The post will be based upon a job plan of 10 programmed activities, constituted as follows:

  1. 1.5 Core SPA (to include CPD)
  2. 1 PA Educational Supervision/core departmental objectives/other interests
  3. 7.5 DCC (including DCC Admin)

Allocation of planned activities may be negotiated to allow the post-holder to take on departmental roles such as Educational Supervision, teaching, clinical governance, etc. The above split is an indicative example.
