NHS Health Analytics Lead

This is a challenging role within the NHS, requiring a highly skilled individual to lead analytical projects and provide senior support to the Healthier Futures team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare data analysis and experience working in a large infrastructure programme. This role offers a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, and opportunities for career growth within the NHS.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex analytical projects, managing stakeholders, timelines, and resources to deliver impactful outcomes. A key aspect of this role will be identifying areas of best practice and promoting them throughout the organisation. You will work closely with clinical leads to increase engagement in performance and information agendas, and collaborate with external partners on advanced modelling techniques.

Responsibilities
- Represent the Healthier Futures Programme on matters relating to information and data analysis, capacity and demand planning, and systems and governance.
- Work with Clinical Leads to increase clinical engagement in performance and information agendas.
- Provide expert specialist support and advice on effective data use to support care, long-term service planning, and organisational policy-making.
- Collaborate with external partners on advanced modelling techniques, critically review models produced, and recommend improvements.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a performance measurement framework to support the Healthier Futures Programme.

Requirements
- Relevant qualification to masters level or equivalent experience.
- Recognised Project Management qualification or relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of the NHS and healthcare data analysis.
