About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced security professional to oversee the security operations of our facilities, manage a team of security personnel, and ensure the protection of our property and personnel.

As a Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the security staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.

Working Nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (42 hours per week)

This challenging and rewarding role requires a professional with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional security services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to enhance safety and security.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for security personnel on safety protocols, emergency response, and customer service.
  • Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other disturbances, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to security activities and incidents.
  • Conduct welfare checks to ensure the well-being of personnel on site.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
  • Current, valid SIA license.
  • Full UK driving license (you will be using one of our patrol cars for site patrols).
  • Access to your own vehicle or able to commute to the site within a maximum distance of 10 miles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of security experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management and ability to plan workload effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Friendly and helpful in your approach.
