Job Description:
We are seeking a 24 month post-doctoral research associate to work on an interdisciplinary project focusing on dynamic risk generated by sediment cascades from landslides, debris flows and river flooding. The research will involve running numerical models to explore the interactions between these processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a combination of mathematical models and spatial data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run mathematical models and interpret the outputs
- Analyse spatial data
- Develop an up-to-date understanding of hazard and risk
- Communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing
- Organise and manage tasks effectively
