Post-doctoral Research Scientist and Modeller

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative post-doctoral scientist to support our Total-Body PET national facility at the University of Edinburgh.
As a member of the "PET is Wonderful" team, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative methodologies for Total-Body PET research and clinical application, working on academic and industry-sponsored projects across medical specialties.
The University of Edinburgh houses three preclinical PET systems and three clinical PET systems coupled with CT or MRI, and our radiochemistry facility has recently been upgraded and expanded.
This is a fixed-term position with full-time hours (35 hours per week) available for 48 months initially. The salary for this post is £40,247 to £47,874 per annum.
Key Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant subject (e.g. imaging, kinetic analysis)
- Innovative thinking and great problem-solving skills
