We are seeking a Healthcare Access Coordinator to become an integral member of our Patient Access team at London Bridge Hospital. This is your chance to be a crucial part of a leading private healthcare provider by joining our Patient Access department. As a Healthcare Access Coordinator, you will be essential in delivering outstanding service to our patients.

Your responsibilities as a Healthcare Access Coordinator will encompass a wide array of administrative functions that support consultants and other stakeholders, ensuring the effective management of all elements necessary for a smooth patient journey. In this position, you will enhance the patient experience by delivering a premium and world-class service to both internal and external parties, maintaining a high standard of customer care while managing a substantial volume of activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and visitors with a courteous and professional attitude. Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external stakeholders. Maintain precise and current information on the hospital database throughout the patient journey. Officially pre-register or register all patients in the hospital systems. Ensure all necessary patient documents are signed and appropriately scanned to the patient accounts. Address telephone, written, and in-person inquiries. Respond promptly to any patient or third-party requests. Oversee patient waiting areas to ensure the smooth operation of the Patient Access Service. Coordinate and facilitate all patient bookings as required.

Qualifications:

Prior administrative experience in a client or customer-facing role. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office – Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
