About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Global Retirement and Benefits Partner. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our clients' retirement and benefits strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global retirement and benefits strategies for multinational corporations, focusing on statutory and voluntary global DC and DB retirement and benefit plan design, pension accounting, financing, investment, strategy, and ongoing governance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, leveraging higher-order analytical and communication skills to provide expert guidance on global retirement and benefits issues.
  • Lead the global retirement and benefits client relationship on multiple large annuity or targeted clients, managing the client relationship, team, and assignments in an oversight/review/quality assurance capacity.
  • Communicate effectively with clients at all levels, including Board of Directors, C-Suite, Global HR Lead, Global Finance Lead, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute new business development efforts, identifying opportunities to grow our client base and expand our services.
  • Manage a large portion of the client portfolio, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and developments, recognizing opportunities to enhance our services and improve client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Aon's Human Capital solution lines, including domestic Wealth, Health, and other business areas, to deliver a comprehensive and integrated approach to clients.
  • Lead people or thought leadership initiatives, driving innovation and excellence within our organization.
  • Ensure compliance with Aon's Risk Management Framework and policies, participating in the management of risks that may impact our business, interests, or reputation.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of related work experience, with 15+ years of experience post-exams.
  • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries or Diploma in International Employee Benefits (a plus).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related degree.
  • Previous experience working in an international retirement/benefits team for another global consulting organization at a senior level, or in-house for a multinational corporation responsible for regional or global retirement and benefit plans.
  • Proven ability to sell and deliver international retirement services to multinational corporations and manage complex global relationships.
  • Strong general knowledge of employer-sponsored DC and DB retirement and benefit plans around the world, including design, operation, pension accounting, financing, and tax.
