Role Overview:

This exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Commissioning Engineering Lead to join our team in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, robotics, and controls, with a proven track record of delivering projects or task work packages in the automotive sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and controlling all site commissioning activities, including weekly updates of the Autostatus document, and ensuring the project schedule, scope, and budget are met.

Additionally, they will manage site safety, attend stand-up meetings, boardwalks, and build phase discussions, and manage the build phases for contract scope of supply.

This is a fixed-term employment opportunity (3-6 months with potential extension) that offers a competitive salary from £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.

The role also includes opportunities for overtime, with paid increments up to 50% of the salary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver technical solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for project tracking and evaluation.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Proven experience in delivering technical solutions for clients in the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and negotiate at all levels.
  • A full, clean UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
