About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team, responsible for leading critical automation projects within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate multi-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Effective change management to prevent scope creep and ensure contractual change processes are followed.
- Creating and maintaining robust Management Plans (including PMP and IMS) in accordance with industry best practice.
- Reviewing and approving risk management process recommendations, eliminating or mitigating risks as necessary.
- Managing supplier and sub-contractor capacity and capabilities, reviewing performance variances and impacts on overall programme performance.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in delivering projects or task work packages, ideally in the Automotive sector.
- Technical experience in Automation and Controls is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate multi-functional teams and keep customers updated on progress.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to mitigate issues and solve customer queries.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £62,000 per annum, with opportunities for overtime and significant increments up to 50% of their salary. We also offer a range of benefits, including paid overtime, pension scheme matching up to 8%, private medical insurance, and life assurance.
