About the Role

">

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Lead to join our programme management team.

As a Senior Project Lead, you'll be responsible for delivering complex projects from concept to completion.

You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

You'll lead a team of project managers and engineers to ensure successful project execution and deliverables.

With a proven track record in project delivery, you'll have excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team.

Your technical expertise will include experience with project management methodologies such as PMP and IMS.

You'll also have strong commercial acumen and be able to manage budgets, schedules, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects from concept to completion.

Develop and implement project plans, including acceptance criteria and milestones.

Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and develop tailored solutions.

Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring efficient completion of the overall programme.

Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including internal and external teams.

Manage contract development activities and negotiate changes with customers.

Requirements

A degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Proven track record in project delivery, preferably in the automotive industry.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team.

Technical expertise in project management methodologies such as PMP and IMS.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contracts.

What We Offer

Competitive salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Overtime pay: 50% of salary for hours worked above 40 per week.

This role is based in Halewood, near Liverpool, with regular travel to customer sites in the UK, Europe, and the US.
