This role is part of the Safer and Stronger Communities Team in LB RICHMOND UPON THAMES & LB WANDSWORTH, working towards reducing crime, disorder, and anti-social behaviour.

The postholder will provide a joined-up approach to community safety, supporting the Alton Estate regeneration programme.

  • Seek to respond to crime and anti-social behaviour, working within the Neighbourhoods and Criminal Justice theme.
  • Coordinating and supporting projects to enhance community safety.

Key Responsibilities

">

This role requires someone with experience in community safety, ensuring familiarity with councils' policies and key legislation.

A strong understanding of multi-agency problem-solving and knowledge of how key agencies work together to make communities safer is essential.

Knowledge of the ECINS platform is desirable but not required as training will be provided.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000-£42,000 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.

The postholder will receive a generous holiday allowance and a range of staff benefits including membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme and childcare vouchers.
