Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to join our team at First Military Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Engineering function across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops.

About the Role

The Engineering Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Engineering Department, adhering to Health and Safety protocols. This will involve supervising all engineering activities, conducting regular inspections, and reporting defects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all engineering work meets the highest quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience: In a similar industrial facility, preferably in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Strong technical skills: Proficiency in engineering principles, practices, and tools.
  • Effective communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
