About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering functions across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the health and safety of staff, contractors, and visitors, as well as minimising the effect of the engineering function on the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Engineering function, including fixed and mobile production plant and quarry installations
  • Oversee engineering staff and contractors, including fabrication and welding works, workshops, and storekeeping
  • Liaise with operations managers and health and safety representatives on site
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly inspections are completed and defects reported
Requirements
  • At least five years of management experience in a quarry or similar industrial facility
  • QCF 6/NVQ4 in Extractives Management or willingness to study for it
  • Preferred Qualified Electrician or extensive electrical knowledge
