About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in Mid Essex. As a key member of our team, you will provide operational and clinical leadership, supporting the delivery of high-quality services to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to a team of clinicians, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based interventions and high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to meet service targets and improve outcomes for service users.
  • Collaborate with the Operational Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure effective communication and coordination across the team.
  • Line manage clinical staff, providing supervision and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a graduate training program (nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology) with registration from a professional body (HCPC, NMC).
  • Experience of working with children and adolescents with mental health needs, providing specialist interventions and evidence-based care.
  • Knowledge of legislation related to children and adolescents, safeguarding procedures, and risk management.
