Mental Health Support Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) as a Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to progress within an operational capacity and work closely with the Operational Manager and Clinical Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational and clinical leadership within the MHST, ensuring the team meets operational and clinical targets.
- Line manage clinical staff within the MHST, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Facilitate the development of a high-quality, timely, accessible, and evidence-based service for service users.
- Participate in the audit process, linking in with the clinical governance agenda.
- Advise, encourage, and share knowledge utilising the latest research and practice development.
- Ensure the team adheres to policies, procedures, and guidelines, and maintains a safe and effective working environment.

Requirements- Successful completion of a graduate training (nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology) with appropriate registration of a professional body (HCPC, NMC).
- Experience of working with children/young people with Mental Health or Learning Disabilities, providing specialist, evidence-based individual interventions.
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to children and adolescents and safeguarding procedures and policies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with service users, families, and other professionals.
