Mental Health Support Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) as a Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to progress within an operational capacity and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational and clinical leadership within the MHST, ensuring that the team meets operational and clinical targets.
- Line manage clinical staff within the MHST, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Act as an autonomous professional, fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (HCPC, NMC).
- Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture, promoting the core functions of MHST and IAPT Principles.
- Participate in the audit process, linking in with the clinical governance agenda.
- Advise, encourage, and share knowledge utilising the latest research and practice development, through literature and peer reviews.
- Ensure that a high-quality, timely, accessible, and evidence-based service is available to all service users who need it and who use the MHST.

You will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health, and wellbeing, and key processes.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Successful completion of a graduate training (nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology) with appropriate registration of a professional body (HCPC, NMC).
- Further professional knowledge gained through accredited courses, workshops, study, and in-house training programs (CYP-IAPT training).
- Experience of working with children/young people with Mental Health or Learning Disabilities, providing specialist, evidence-based individual interventions with a wide variety of children and young people, from 3 to 19 years old.
- Experience in delivering evidence-based interventions (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
