About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at De Vere Tortworth Court, a 201-bedroom hotel in South Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Executive Head Housekeeper to set, monitor, and maintain the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards.
  • Deputise for the Head Housekeeper as required, supervising the team and regulating housekeeping costs to maximize room division profitability.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth and building genuine relationships with team members to create a sense of belonging and empower them to take pride in their work.
  • Deliver a consistent level of service under pressure, with a keen eye for detail, and be IT literate with experience in Opera and Fourth Hospitality.
  • Aware of all relevant legislation, including health and safety, COSSHH, environmental health, and fire precautions.
  • Strong communication skills to motivate and inspire colleagues to deliver a consistent level of service.
  • Well-organized with good time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing work schedules and rotas to meet operational demands.
