Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at De Vere Tortworth Court. As a key member of our housekeeping management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Executive Head Housekeeper to set and monitor housekeeping standards and guest service expectations.
  • Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of housekeeping services.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping costs to maximize room division profitability.
  • Deputize for the Head Housekeeper as required, taking on additional responsibilities and duties as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve housekeeping efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • IT literacy and experience with hotel management systems, such as Opera and Fourth Hospitality.
  • Awareness of relevant legislation, including health and safety, COSSHH, environmental health, and fire precautions.
