We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at De Vere Tortworth Court, a stunning 201-bedroom hotel in South Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Executive Head Housekeeper to set, monitor, and maintain the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards.
  • Deputise for the Head Housekeeper as required in all aspects of supervising the team and regulating housekeeping costs, keeping in line with business forecasts by maximising room division profitability.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth where colleagues feel appreciated and by building genuine relationships with your team, you will create a sense of belonging, empowering them to take pride in their work.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in hotels, ideally in a similar role and in a similar-sized property.
  • Ability to deliver a consistent level of service under pressure, with a keen eye for detail.
  • IT literacy and previous experience with Opera and Fourth Hospitality would be an advantage.
  • Awareness of all relevant legislation, including health and safety at work, COSSHH, environmental health, and fire precautions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues to deliver a consistent level of service.
  • Well-organised with good time management skills, prioritising tasks and managing work schedules and rotas to meet operational demands.
