Accounting Curriculum Lead

Prospero Teaching seeks an experienced and skilled Accounting Curriculum Lead to join our team. This is a national role that involves leading the development and delivery of Accounting lessons, incorporating innovative pedagogies and technology-enhanced learning experiences.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum for A level Accounting, including exam specifications. You must have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or similar Accounting qualification, along with recent experience teaching Accounting to students up to KS5.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies, including video conferencing and online resources.

Compensation Package
  • $66,895 - $93,918 per annum (MPR + SEN point, London Fringe + 3% enhanced)
About the Position
  1. Role Overview: The Accounting Curriculum Lead will develop and deliver high-quality Accounting lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback and guidance, and contributing to the school's professional development.
  2. Responsibilities: Design and implement engaging Accounting lessons; create and manage lesson plans; evaluate student performance; and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  3. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status; degree in Accounting or related field; recent experience teaching Accounting to students up to KS5; excellent understanding of National Curriculum for A level Accounting; and ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
