About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Patient Central Team as a Call Handler. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming telephone experience to our patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a friendly and reassuring manner.
  • Follow a call guide prompted by our electronic triage system to make a patient care request on the system, ensuring that patients are directed to the most appropriate clinician or service.
  • Work efficiently to handle calls, meeting targets and making a positive impact on the patient experience.
  • Perform various administrative duties generated by patient calls, including data entry and other tasks associated with the Patient Central team.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills, who is able to work in a fast-paced call centre environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop their skills.
