Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR leader to join our team as Head of HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our HR function and driving transformative change to build a high-performance culture across our organisation.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will contribute to the development of our People & Culture Strategy and develop and deliver an aligned business unit People Plan. You will lead the business unit's People & Culture team, motivating and developing the team to deliver best-in-class services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of employee relations, both collective and individual, ensuring employees are managed fairly and business requirements are met in a legally compliant way.
  • Create a climate where our people feel connected and committed to the business, becoming genuine advocates for our organisation.
  • Coach and mentor our teams on all aspects of people-related matters, including leadership skills and strengthening leadership through coaching.
  • Work collaboratively with the business unit management team and Regional P&C management to ensure appropriate development and management of pay and benefits.
  • Ensure resourcing, learning & development, and HR systems meet local requirements, so the needs of our people and business are met.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Extensive HR leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing or a similar sector.
  • Strategic vision and the ability to think long-term and develop People strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Change management expertise and the ability to lead through transformation.
  • A genuine passion for people development and an ability to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture where employees feel connected, valued, and empowered.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • A commitment to promoting a strong safety culture and supporting employee wellbeing through tailored initiatives.
  • Data-driven decision making and a comfort with using HR systems, analytics, and reporting to inform decision-making and drive business improvements.
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion, with experience embedding these values into workplace culture and business practices.
