About the Role:
Social workers play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Child Protection and Child in Need plans. As a member of our Safeguarding team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable individuals. Your work will involve conducting assessments, home visits, and direct work with children, as well as care planning and case recording. You will also engage in reflective and group supervision to continually improve practice.
About You:
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient social worker who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. You will be an effective communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team. You will be confident in applying statutory and regulatory frameworks with knowledge of a range of professional interventions. You will be committed to championing inclusion and diversity and have the ability to handle sensitive issues with care. You will also be resilient and responsible in managing your caseload.

Qualifications:
We are seeking a social worker who has a relevant Social Work qualification and has completed the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). You will also need to be actively registered with Social Work England. You will have a strong understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks and have experience of working with children and young people who are subject to Child Protection and Child in Need plans. You will also have experience of conducting assessments, home visits, and direct work with children, as well as care planning and case recording. You will have a strong understanding of the importance of reflective and group supervision in continually improving practice.
