Job Title: Children Safeguarding Team Manager

Remedy Social Work is seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our Adolescent Safeguarding Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of social workers who deliver statutory social work services to vulnerable adolescents aged 13 to 18.

Job Purpose:

The Adolescent Safeguarding Team is part of the Family and Youth Resilience Service, which provides targeted and statutory services to children and families. The team's primary focus is on preventing and responding to child exploitation, including child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, and harmful sexual behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of social workers in delivering statutory social work services to adolescents at risk of harm.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to prevent child exploitation and promote the safety and well-being of adolescents.
  3. Collaborate with partner agencies, including the police and community safety services, to ensure effective joint working.
  4. Manage and develop the team's skills and knowledge to ensure they are equipped to respond to the complex needs of adolescents.
