Job Title: Children Safeguarding Team Manager

Remedy Social Work is seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our Adolescent Safeguarding Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of social workers in delivering statutory social work services to vulnerable adolescents aged 13 to 18.

Job Purpose:

The Adolescent Safeguarding Team is part of the Family and Youth Resilience Service, which provides targeted and statutory services to children and families. The team's focus is on preventing and responding to child exploitation, harmful sexual behavior, and serious youth violence. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the team delivers high-quality services that meet the needs of adolescents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of social workers in delivering statutory social work services to adolescents aged 13 to 18.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to prevent and respond to child exploitation, harmful sexual behavior, and serious youth violence.
  3. Work closely with partner agencies, including the police and community safety teams, to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
  4. Manage and develop the team's skills and knowledge to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
  5. Ensure that the team's work is aligned with the organization's values and objectives.
