Safeguarding Service

Salary: £39,000 - £40,000 (Social Worker) / £45,000 - £49,000 (Senior Social Worker)

Full-Time Hours

We are seeking dedicated and resilient social workers to join our Safeguarding team, where your work will be instrumental in supporting children subject to Child Protection and Child in Need plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people with Child Protection and Child in Need plans

• Transfer cases between the Safeguarding and Permanence teams when appropriate

• Build strong relationships with families, support networks, and partner agencies

• Conduct assessments, home visits, and direct work with children, as well as care planning and case recording

• Ensure the child's voice is heard in all aspects of case management

• Engage in reflective and group supervision to continually improve practice

Qualifications:
  • A relevant Social Work qualification
  • Completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
  • Active Social Work England registration
