About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily activities, promoting their dignity and independence, and helping them live happy and healthy lives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with personal care, such as washing and dressing
  • Developing and implementing individual care plans
  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving
  • Communicating effectively with residents, relatives, and colleagues
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to provide high-quality care

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Caring and compassionate with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communicator with good verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Previous experience working with the elderly is desirable but not essential
