We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at With You. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to our diverse client group.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for growing and supporting the team's ability to respond effectively to individuals' past trauma, building motivation, and developing resources to assist people to change the way they think, feel, and behave. You will hold a specialist caseload of clients with co-existing substance use and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with complex needs
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address trauma and substance use
- Supervise and support the practice of psychology staff, including practitioner and assistant psychologists
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve service delivery
- Postgraduate Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, or equivalent
- Completed training course in clinical supervision
- Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, with evidence of continuing professional development
- Demonstrable experience of working as a practitioner psychologist, with a minimum of 2 years' experience
- Demonstrable experience of working within the substance misuse field, with a minimum of 1 year post-qualification
