Office Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable supplier and fitter of carpets and flooring, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Administrator/Office Manager to join their team in Ferndown. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small yet friendly team and contribute to the success of our client.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent customer service skills, and some experience in accounts. They will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Directors and wider team, answering incoming calls, maintaining a tidy office environment, and managing levels of stationery and consumables.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Strong administration skills with the ability to support a small team.
- Good organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the Directors and the wider team.
- Answering all incoming calls on a daily basis and dealing with customer and supplier enquiries via phone or email.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe office environment.
- Being the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, visitors.
- Managing levels of stationery and consumables.
- Undertaking Purchase Ledger activities.
- Assisting with Sales Ledger in the Accounts Manager's absence.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and filing appropriately.
Location: Ferndown
Salary: circa £29,000 + bonus
Benefits include 20 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off if it falls during the week, free parking, socials, pension
