Job Description

As a Support Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to a small team in a friendly office environment. This role involves assisting with customer service, accounts, and other administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative assistance to directors and team members
  • Answer calls and handle customer and supplier inquiries via phone or email
  • Maintain health and safety documentation and ensure the office is clean and free of hazards
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, and visitors
  • Maintain stationery and consumables, and undertake purchase ledger activities
  • Raise sales invoices and assist with sales ledger in the accounts manager's absence
  • Maintain accurate customer records, file appropriately, and place supplier orders
Work Environment

This is an office-based role with standard working hours of 8:30am-5:00pm and a 30-minute lunch break. The work environment is friendly and relaxed, with opportunities for banter and socialising with colleagues.

Requirements
  • Strong administration skills and ability to support a small team
  • Good organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a good sense of humour
  • Deadline-driven and proficient in health and safety administration
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of circa £29,000 per annum, plus bonus, benefits including 20 days' holiday, bank holidays, birthday off, free parking, socials, and pension scheme.
