Job Overview:
In a small yet friendly team based in Ferndown, we are seeking an experienced Senior Administrator/Office Manager to support the Directors and wider team.
As Aspire Jobs Limited's trusted partner, our reputable client is a well-established supplier and fitter of carpets and flooring to both Commercial and Residential customers across Dorset and further afield.
This role would be ideal for an individual with strong organisational skills, excellent customer service skills, and some experience in accounts. The office environment is relaxed, friendly, and fun, but also allows for focused work when needed.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Strong administration skills with the ability to support a small team.
- Good organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the Directors and the wider team.
- Answering all incoming calls on a daily basis and dealing with customer and supplier enquiries via phone or email.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe office environment.
- Being the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, visitors.
- Managing levels of stationery and consumables.
- Undertaking Purchase Ledger activities.
- Assisting with Sales Ledger in the Accounts Manager's absence.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and filing appropriately.
Location: Ferndown
Estimated Salary: circa £29,000 + bonus
Benefits include 20 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off if it falls during the week, free parking, socials, pension
