Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at First Choice Staff. This role involves providing quotations for domestic and European collections/deliveries, monitoring and tracking deliveries, and route planning and scheduling of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quotations for domestic and European collections/deliveries, liaising with third-party companies as necessary
  • Monitor and track deliveries through to delivery, taking ownership of any queries that arise throughout
  • Plan and schedule vehicle routes, ensuring jobs are collected/delivered on time
  • Maintain the company fleet, ensuring vehicles are serviced on time and any defects are investigated and rectified within a reasonable timeframe
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Baith new client relationships and maintain existing ones
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate rates effectively
Requirements
  • National CPC holder is desirable but not essential
  • HGV Class 2 license and Forklift licence would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in route-planning is highly valued
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
