Job Overview:

This role will provide critical HR support and advice for all Human Resource programs and operational inquiries, requiring a high level of generalist skills to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support change management through coaching and advocacy for an assigned portfolio.
  2. Develop leadership capacity as a human resource educator and advisor to management and staff.
  3. Analyze workforce metrics and trends to manage risk.
  4. Mentor site management and staff in employee engagement programs, HR policy, and operational standards, employee and labor relations, workforce planning, and HR administration.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years experience in a well-rounded HR generalist role.
  2. Experience working with offsite management and staff preferred.
  3. Experience in Long Term Care / Assisted Living an asset.
  4. Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources or other relevant program preferred.
  5. Valid Class 5 driver license for regular travel within Vancouver Island AgeCare (4) sites.

Compensation:

  • A competitive salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
