Employee Engagement Specialist

We are AgeCare Ltd., a leading provider of long-term care services. Our mission is to empower residents to live their lives to the fullest by prioritizing their health and well-being. We're currently seeking a skilled Community Care Partner to join our team.
Job Overview:
This role will provide critical HR support and advice for all Human Resource programs and operational inquiries, requiring a high level of generalist skills to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support change management through coaching and advocacy for an assigned portfolio.
- Develop leadership capacity as a human resource educator and advisor to management and staff.
- Analyze workforce metrics and trends to manage risk.
- Mentor site management and staff in employee engagement programs, HR policy, and operational standards, employee and labor relations, workforce planning, and HR administration.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a well-rounded HR generalist role.
- Experience working with offsite management and staff preferred.
- Experience in Long Term Care / Assisted Living an asset.
- Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources or other relevant program preferred.
- Valid Class 5 driver license for regular travel within Vancouver Island AgeCare (4) sites.
Compensation:
- A competitive salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
