About the Job

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation, managing the day-to-day business operations of the Information Governance Team and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and information risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • To formally deputise for the Data Protection Officer pursuant to Article 37 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • To manage and deliver the schools and any other Data Protection Service Level Agreement.
  • To support the improvement of data protection compliance and management of information risk within the Council, and for SLA Schools.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with strong knowledge of data protection regulations and information risk management. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Benefits

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including paid annual leave and access to training and development opportunities.
