About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Risk Management Officer, working closely with the Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and information risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage the day-to-day business operations of the Information Governance Team, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and information risk management.
  • To formally deputise for the Data Protection Officer pursuant to Article 37 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • To support the improvement of data protection compliance and management of information risk within the Council, and for SLA Schools.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with strong knowledge of data protection regulations and information risk management. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
