Business Support Officer (Grade 4)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Support Officer. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and operational support to our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily business operations and contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, file management, and document preparation
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, such as reports, memos, and correspondence
  • Conduct research and compile data to support the team in making informed business decisions
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines
  • Respond to inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and update databases, records, and filing systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Support the team in organizing and coordinating events, including logistics, venue booking, and preparation of materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and tasks

Working Hours and Pay

  • Hours Per Week: 35.00
  • Start Time: 09:00
  • End Time: 17:00
  • Pay Per Hour: £12.71
