Cancer Care Team Assistant

We are seeking a Cancer Care Team Assistant to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
In this role, you will provide support to individuals affected by cancer and their families, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to manage level 1 psychological distress and recognise and escalate level 2 psychological distress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals affected by cancer and their families
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
- Manage level 1 psychological distress and recognise and escalate level 2 psychological distress
Requirements:
- Educated to Band 4
- A level or BTEC / GNVQ level - or relevant clinical experience
Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience
