Medivet Group Limited is seeking a full-time Client Care Assistant to join their St Albans practice, working 40 hours a week.

Job Description

This role will support a team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and Veterinary Care Assistants, providing exceptional care to clients consistently.

You'll use excellent customer service skills to welcome and assist clients before, during, and after every visit, although hands-on experience working with pets isn't necessary.

A love of animals and their welfare is essential for this busy and varied front-of-house role, handling telephone lines, arranging appointments, taking payments, entering test results, and ensuring consult rooms are fully stocked.

You'll also take ownership of maintaining the reception and waiting areas' appearance.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, with National Living Wage if you're aged 21 or over, and National Minimum Wage if you're under 21.

Benefits include a health cash plan from day one (covering dental, physio, and optical services), with 24/7 Private GP Service.

Additionally, you'll have Life Assurance (3x salary) and access to 24-hour counselling by phone or in person when needed.

Annual leave totals 31 days (including Bank Holidays), rising to 36 with length of service. You'll also receive an additional 'Day for You', a paid day's leave for personal use.
