About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Brandon Trust. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live the lives they want to lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empower individuals to develop daily living skills and access their communities for socialisation, employment, training, or friendships.
  • Contribute to, develop, and implement individual care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those we support.
  • Maintain effective communication with individuals, their families, and external professionals, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Support individuals to overcome fears and challenges, building their confidence and self-esteem.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and a positive, patient approach.
  • Ability to build professional relationships and work well as part of a team.
  • Resilience and respect for people's differences.
